So, you have decided to grow a beard and join the league of men who make heads turn wherever they go. Do not take your beard for granted because it’s not going to be like Johnny Depp’s or Ben Affleck’s until you take good care of it. The most important thing you need to grow healthy and lustrous hair on your chin is beard oil. In this article, we will tell you how beard oil works. Beard oil is essentially used as a leave-in conditioner, and it is created by mixing essential oils such as coconut oil, almond oil, argan oil, jojoba oil and so on. The oil is similar to the natural oil produced by your skin, hence it is easily absorbed by the hair and skin. So, this reduces the load on the sebaceous gland to produce enough oil to moisturize the beard. Works as an effective moisturizer: How does beard oil work? When beard oil is applied on the hair, it reaches the hair follicles and softens them from within. This prevents the hair from becoming brittle and unmanageable. The protective coat of essential oils not only moisturizes the skin but also gives it a healthy luster. The skin also feels hydrated and less itchy throughout the day. When you are ready to call it a day, make sure you apply a few drops of oil to the beard. This will heal the skin, moisturize the hair follicles and make your beard grow faster. Prevents fungal and bacterial infections The skin under the beard is usually sensitive and needs extra care. If your skin is prone to fungal and bacterial infections, you will need to use oil that can reduce inflammation and treat the infection. The skin has a tendency to become dull, dry and itchy. If your skin feels too dry, experts recommend that you apply beard oil two to three times a day. Just take a few drops on your palm and massage it throughout the beard using your fingers. If you have a long beard, you may keep a small comb to run through the hair and ensure that every hair strand is coated with oil. Has a therapeutic effect The beard oil also has a therapeutic effect as the essential oils used in it are derived from roots, peels, flowers, berries, or even wood. When you apply a few drops on your beard, it smells really good and gives you more confidence to make public appearances. Fights dry skin and beardruff Anyone who has kept a beard at any time in his life knows the mayhem beard dandruff or beardruff can create. Supplementing the extra hair growth on your chin and the skin with essential oil helps in fighting dry skin. It keeps the skin feeling smoother and softer. It also promotes cell regeneration and skin revitalization. Fights acne problems A beard works like a shield for your skin against external elements and impurities. However, simply having a beard does not guarantee acne-free skin. To prevent acne and have healthy skin, you need to have selective carrier oils in your beard oil blend. If you have acne-prone skin, then we would recommend that you opt for jojoba oil, coconut oil, or olive oil as the carrier oil. For essential oil, you may use any of the following – lavender essential oil, rosemary essential oil, tea tree essential oil, cypress essential oil, bergamot essential oil, and oregano essential oil to name a few. Treats eczema Beard oil can also work from within to treat a skin condition called eczema. This is a chronic skin condition that is caused by skin inflammation. Beard oil containing essential oils such as rose essential oil, fennel, bergamot, eucalyptus, tea tree, chamomile, rose geranium, and lavender can help in treating eczema. Conclusion When you want a healthy and lustrous beard to add that special effect on your face, make sure you use the right beard oil. Knowing how beard oil works will help you choose the right mix of oils to heal the skin problems if any, and properly moisturize the hair. Make sure you apply a generous amount of oil depending on the size of your beard. Apply oil after a shower and also before going to the bed to allow it to work overnight. An anonymous writer once exclaimed, “Life is an endless struggle full of frustrations and challenges, but eventually you find a hairstylist you like.” This observation pretty much sums up the dynamic that exists between a barber and his clients. The relationship is often compared to that of a psychiatrist and his patient in part because it offers boundless territory for both discussion and confession. Nowhere is a relationship more animated, informative, humorous or contentious than in the confines of the barbershop. Search any street corner, inner-city, or rural destination and you will find a barbershop that not only meets styling needs of the populous but also one that caters to the varying dialogue appetites and leanings of its clientele. What has always fascinated me about the inner workings of the barbershop is that it is truly one of the very few places where there is what Miami Herald columnist Greg Cote calls, “random evidence of cluttered minds.” Quite frankly, men have accrued endless tons of invaluable insights and priceless perspectives stored up but have only been able to express them in limited fashion and venues. Truth be told, we have a bunch of things to say but for years have been precluded from saying them. My personal barber, Atlanta’s own, ‘Master Dee’ is probably best described as an interesting mixture between rap mogul, Snoop Dogg because of his slender physique and the sultry R&B crooner, Barry White because of his commanding baritone vocals. A married man with no crumb snatchers as he puts it, Dee always seems to be at ease with the state of the world and never allows himself to be overwhelmed by the “craziness” we often refer to as life and living. Dee has always been as deliberate in his pre-haircut ritual of carefully placing his clippers and work tools in a nice and neat row as he is incautiously offering his outlook on life, politics, conspiracy theories, soap operas, the weather, sports, who killed JFK, relationships and any other subject matter that catches his fancy.Just recently while reclining in “the chair” waiting for a cut, I asked Dee a probing question. I was curious as to what was the barbershop’s secret in compelling men to spill their proverbial guts when it came to the array conversation pieces that have echoed throughout shops all over the country. He thought for a moment with a distant gaze on his face as if he were channeling the responses from the thousands of barbers who had come before him. After his silent and seemingly lengthy personal deliberation, he calmly stroked his ample and disorganized goatee, placed his right foot on the rear rotational bar of the chair and exclaimed: “a brotha’ always needs another brotha.” Almost instantly, I along with the other patrons scattered throughout this nondescript shop nodded in affirmation and knew exactly what Dee was alluding to. Reduced to its least common denominator, men desperately require other men to vent too and become validated by. What is so interesting about this dynamic is that it has less to do with conversation and quite a bit more to do with the relational and tangible bonding exercise that occurs in barbershops in every corner of the nation. The validation a man gets from another man through dialogue, storytelling, humor and even the exchange of personal instances of pain and despair not only let him know that he is not alone in his constant pursuit of the prize of manhood but it also connects to him to a fraternity of “brotha’s” as Dee so affectionately expressed who can help him “stay up” when the tangible circumstances of time and dictate and often insist that he should instead lay down and die. It would be careless to imply that the history of flawed male to male and male to female interactions at their core can simply be healed by getting a fade and an accompanying shave. It should, however, be noted that a good “tape” may be the best means to adequately measure the distance between a man’s words and his heart. Men have been grooming themselves with ointments and scented oils since ancient times. But in today’s era, many of them choose to have men grooming tools as personal care products. This trend is rising rapidly because looking good is important in order to be a part of the social circle. If you are looking for some basic men grooming tools, then have a look at the following: Shaving Brushes Shaving brushes help you shave effectively by preventing the shaving cream from watering down. The quality of a shaving brush highly depends on its bristles. These bristles are made from different materials. For instance, some are made from synthetic fibers, while others are made from horsehair. The purpose of these bristles is to make the shaving cream’s foundation thicker by absorbing moisture. You will find various brands of shaving brushes. However, not all of them will provide you maximum satisfaction. Therefore, choose the one that your friends and experts recommend. Combs Previously, men used to keep their combs with them as a common practice. This was because properly styled hair was considered a norm. Things have not changed a lot since then. Men still give a lot of significance to their hair. Therefore, choosing the right comb as a tool for grooming depends a lot on your type of hair. If you have curly hair, then go for an aflo comb. Otherwise, a simple comb will work too. Hair Trimmer Men hair trimmer works best when you do not have time to go to the salon for a hair cut. Since men hair trimmer is easy to use, you can cut your hair yourself. You can make your own hairstyles differently using hair trimmers. All you need to do is to buy a hair trimmer and trim your hair in different styles. If you want to buy hand-held trimming sets, then you can also get guard pieces with them that are interchangeable. You can trim your hair in uniform length this way because a guard piece enables you to cut only a particular amount of your hair. Secondly, you do not have to take any risk cutting a large amount of your hair accidentally. Therefore, it is always convenient to choose a hair trimmer. Razors When you go to choose a razor, you will definitely come across its various types. Choose one that is made with new technology so that you can have a close shave. Electronic razors are a good example of modern grooming tools. Article Source: https://EzineArticles.com/expert/Alexis_Jack/1363377 Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/7118620
